THE VILLAGE IDIOT...a brick wall of on tap beer, huge marble wrap around bar with friendly smartly dressed bar staff overlooked by a massive stuffed ostrich named Oskar! This funky new kid on the block finally fills a much needed gap in Cape Town's line up. This is the young Hipster HQ where week nights are already booked in advance if you are looking to enjoy their braai-style bar food. Located on a first floor with exposed brick, open rafters, fireplace and wide balconies we enjoyed a great evening.
