DE KLOOF LUXURY ESTATE...this 1801 manor house is surrounded by lush gardens and is home to a five star boutique & luxury country guesthouse. This national monument has been lovingly preserved with interiors that can be described as colonial chic and with 12m pool, small gym and library this is a great place to unwind and relax. |
KLEIN WATERVAL RIVERSIDE LODGE...a favourite that we have stayed many times. Located ten minutes from Franschhoek you can choose rooms that open onto vineyards and relax around the 14m pool plus enjoy great wine from the cosy bar whilst taking in amazing views. |
JAN HARMSGAT COUNTRY HOUSE...dating back to 1723 this farm situated along the slopes of the Langeberg has original meter thick walls with five star accommodation and 4-course dinners that you have to try. Wine cellar, swimming pool, croquet and 680 ha of land to explore. |
INDIA HOUSE, BASTIAANSKLOOF...get away from it all and located in a nature reserve with other 800 plant species this beautifully built three bedroom house is the perfect spot to enjoy as a group. Interior courtyard, large fireplace, French oak paneled kitchen and croquet around the pool. |
KERSEFONTEIN GUEST FARM...personally one of our favourites and completely different from the norm. This working farm that dates back to 1770 is located in-land up the West Coast just outside the village of Hopefield. Farm buildings have been converted into luxury rooms & suites and as well as enjoying breakfast on your own private terrace you can also experience traditional local cuisine in the main farmhouse with your host, Julian, eighth generation Melck. |
KOLKOL LODGE...close to Botrivier this is a lovely location where literally you can relax and do nothing. These self-catering log cabins are surrounded by fynbos and their are log fires and plunge pools heated by wood burners.
