"Newly renovated, this is an absolutely stunning spot in the heart of Cape Town, close to shops, restaurants and bars and a 20-minute walking distance to the V&A Waterfront. Situated in a quiet, peaceful side street, this is one of a series of cottages in the Waterkant area that Richard has renovated and I heard about it from a work colleague who had stayed in an adjoining unit and loved it. (If this one is not available, have a look at some of the others.) Communication with Richard and his team was superb. The property is comfortable and well thought out with everything you might need and a couple of things you didn't think you would need but will love, like the brilliant outdoor shower in a sunny, private courtyard at the back of the cottage. (There is also a very modern and expansive indoor shower for cold, blustery days. ) Highly recommended!"

"Of all the places I’ve stayed this is pretty much perfect. The house is lovely - colours, decor, layout, outdoor shower & small study for working in. Kitchen great. Location brilliant for restaurants, cafes, food shopping, running, access to city/waterfront etc. Will be back for sure."

"Great stay! If you like being in the midst of the city life, with an incredible city skyline view, sipping cocktails in a jacuzzi, this is the spot for you. Check in with Trust is a great experience and he sorts out your special requests quickly. Lots of great eateries and social venues around, spoilt for choice within walking distance. I always felt safe, and the road was quiet. The small historical architectural details (like bronze knobs and old stone) of the townhouse makes this a gem to stay in."

"This is a great location to stay at when visiting Cape Town. This was our first trip to Cape Town and loved that it was a very easy walk from the house in De Waterkant to the V&A waterfront, Greenpoint, etc. Coffeeshops, restaurants, and stores are just a couple minutes walk away so if you just feel like getting take out, you can easily bring meals home. It was also very easy to use Uber to ride share anywhere in the area. The rooftop deck is perfect for that morning decision of whether to drop everything and rush to Table Mountain on a clear day. It was nice to be able to be up there and seethe gorgeous views of both the waterfront and the mountain. It was a short Uber to the cable car to get up to table mountain and hike for a couple hours. The unit itself is well outfitted and spread out if you’re traveling with a group. The unit had three bedrooms and could easily sleep 5. While we traveled as just a couple, I loved the privacy of the master bedroom and its access to its own deck with hot tub. People using the downstairs bedrooms have easy access to the ground level courtyard. WiFi and all needed supplies and kitchen equipment were available, including a Nespresso machine, microwave, and Washer/Dryer. If coming back to Cape Town I would stay in one of the De Waterkant units again for the convenience and space."

"The location was perfect. The apartment is spectacularly appointed, spacious and decorated with the rooftop terrace the highlight as it has great views of Cape Town and perfect space to have a BBQs. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and cafes. We enjoy it so much that we extended our stay. Highly recommend and Richard and his team were well organised and professional throughout."

"Really nice house, set in a beautiful part of the city with amazing views from the roof terrace. The hill up to the house is a bit steep, but everything is within a short walk (or if you don't fancy the hill, an Uber drive). Really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it wholeheartedly."

"This gorgeous apartment is in a great location. It is thoughtfully designed to maximize space. The views of Table Mountain from the rooftop deck are sensational ... the perfect spot to have your morning coffee. The apartment is within walking distance to several lovely coffee shops, as well as to shops. The check-in was very slick and professional, and very warm and welcoming."

"Very stylish and modern space right in the heart of De Waterkant with great views of the sea and Cape Town. De Waterkant is a lovely area and one of my favourite in Cape Town. Being able to go to many different restaurants or shops and then walk home in the evening before curfew started was a real treat. Richard was very helpful and quick to reply when I had questions. All in all I think represents great value for money and a space that felt like home straight away. Definitely recommend this highly."
